Don’t throw away old tools! Just because they are rusty, it doesn’t mean they can’t be partially restored. Perhaps it’s something really old, rare, or sentimental. Sometimes it’s cheaper to restore it than replace it.

It may never be perfect again, or ‘good as new’, but we can add years to the life of something by removing the build up of iron oxide (rust) that has built up over the year.
